The New York Academy was the first organization in New York State to sponsor the Donated Dental Services program. Now, most every dental organization has joined us. We should be proud of the Academys foresight and continue to volunteer for this organization. You are able to treat a pre-screened (for need) patient in your own office on your schedule. There is no easier way to help someone in need of dental services.

The Academy is seeking volunteers: General Dentists are in the greatest need in the metropolitan area. Retiring and recently retired dentists are being sought to participate in a pilot program which will triage the patients entering the system for medical and dental necessity (operatory space and malpractice coverage can be arranged).
