Susan Karabin, DDS, Past President of the New York Academy of Dentistry, presented with the Henry Spenadel Award November 2013
Susan Karabin DDS is the recipient of the 2013 Spenadel Award presented by the New York County Dental Society recognizing an individual or organization for significant contribution to the advancement of the dental profession.
Dr. Karabin has been an assistant attending at NY Presbyterian Hospital and an Associate Clinical Professor at the Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, Division of Periodontics,. In 2008 Dr. Karabin received the Distinguished Alumnus Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions and achievement to the university.
Dr. Karabin, has held numerous offices including President of the American Academy of Periodontology, the New York Academy of Dentistry, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontics. She is also a member of the NYCDS and a fellow of the American College of Dentists.
